Building in a religion niche.

I've been looking at a lot of religion-focused apps this year.

apps like hollow ($800K/month), bible chat ($500k/month), glorify ($100K/month), muslim pro ($90K/month), etc.

I just launched my own as well. some would say this is a great "niche"; i feel strange about it.

The graph tells it all: people indeed seem to be very interested in these sorts of apps right now.

I started building Find Your Faith hoping that it would help myself. because in many ways, I am part of the search trends lol.

I said I felt strange earlier because:
When you're building something personal to yourself and others, certain terms start to feel out of place…

Are these "niches"?
Are these "users"?
Are these great signs of potential "MRR"?

What I do know is that every person who tries our app deserves a certain level of respect, especially with a topic this personal.

Nonetheless, I'm building a product at the end of the day. So, numbers do matter.

I see myself in the graphs.
I see how perhaps people are searching for these things just like us.

It's hard to tell if this is just a phase, the pendulum swinging back, a (google) trend, or if it's some kind of signal about the world in general. but hopefully I'm on the right track to building something meaningful.

I'm starting to write regularly. If you would like to get updates when I write, then drop an email below :)
